Why
Here are some common misconceptions of power usage:
The Bigger the Country, the More Power they use,
If that were the case then China, Russia and India would be battling it out.
Its Climate that influences power usage,
Well then Russia would use the most power.
The More people in a country the more power they use,
If that were the case then China or India would rule.
It is not one individual thing, It is a mixture of all the elements above and it also matchs what people earn whcih is GDP, GDP is a countires economic output in the greater of society. The United States uses the most power and they have the highest GDP (excluding European Union because of broad diversity of nations and individual wealth). These reaults are for a countries output per person. It is all these micro-countries such as Luxemberg with low income tax, but they are smaller nations so they use much less power. The United States doesn't have the highest population nor the largest land mass but they do have climate extremes at both ends of the land mass but that isn't a major factor it is all of those things. But with countires such as Austrlaia have one major factor - we are a rich nation for our population and we have a temperature extreme of heat and cold and distance that is our major use of power.
